Overview

The Action Renewables Association is a new initiative, aimed primarily at bringing together like minded companies from across the full range of industry sectors in Northern Ireland. The common theme is ‘energy’ and all of the issues around it, such as costs, energy efficiency, alternative sources and new innovations. With oil prices sitting at $127 a barrel on 13th May 2008, and having increased by 60% in the previous twelve months, gas prices going up and electricity costs predicted to rise, energy costs are a serious issue for all businesses.

The members of the Action Renewables Association will have the benefit of a full range of sustainable advice at their fingertips. Action Renewables employs some of the foremost experts in the renewable energy industry in Northern Ireland and our Board has some of the most widely recognised experts on sustainability. Through meetings and seminars Associates will be able to network with other Associate companies and world class experts in renewable technologies, to gain a deeper understanding and knowledge of energy issues, potential solutions and most importantly the opportunities arising today in Northern Ireland.
