The Education Team
The Action Renewables Education Team offer education programmes to primary and post primary schools, which support the national curriculum for Northern Ireland through the areas of Renewable Energy and its related issues.
In addition to this we support higher level learning and are regular guest speakers at colleges and universities across Northern Ireland. We offer this support through our links with the Renewable Energy Industry, European INTERREG Projects, Schemes from Government Agencies and Business Sponsorship of the Programme and its associated Competitions.
To support schools we have developed a number of free to download worksheets, lesson plans and general information available as well as developing Teacher Resource Books and CD ROMs*. All our materials are available free of charge to schools in Northern Ireland, however education officer visits to schools are limited to the scope of projects specified by our sponsors.
