READY

The main aim of READY is to promote entrepreneurship as a viable career choice and/or to study entrepreneurship at third level by giving skills to young people and developing innovative methods to stimulate youth entrepreneurship and links to the business world. READY also establishes a cooperative support structure for Young Entrepreneurs after the conclusion of the project amongst teachers and education providers as well as policy decision makers on enterprise development.

READY brings together 7 EU partners from; Republic of Ireland (coordinator), Spain, Croatia, Belgium, Germany, United Kingdom and Austria. This is the first time that these partners will work on a joint project focusing on Rural Youth Entrepreneurship. As the UK partner, Action Renewables has developed a NING network for young entrepreneurs, (www.ready-ni.ning.com), an education resource booklet used by the EU partners, as well as directly mentoring and educating several young people from the Newtownabbey area.
