Course Entry Requirements

Candidates must provide evidence of minimum entry qualifications to gain entry to wind training courses. The wind course is intended for practicing electricians who will be required to install grid connected domestic wind turbines. Candidates must be able to satisfy the following criteria:

* It is expected that candidates will be practising electricians and have appropriate qualifications related to electrical installation such as an NVQ at level 3, knowledge of the IEE Wiring Regulations and inspection and testing.
* Candidates will need to be employed within the electrical contracting industry.
